A very rare vintage Cerwin-Vega A-400 Power amplifier in exceptional condition for its 1979 vintage.
*Aside from a new fan professionally installed this is a well cared for all original unit.
*Amplifier was professionally serviced by one of Ottawa's best amplifier technicians and given a clean bill of health.DC offset,bias ect to factory specs.
This is a professional level amplifier,and sounds very good indeed,and I have owned the METRON A-4000 legend preferring the sound of the A-400.
Just the right amount of power and grunt at 225 watts per channel at 8 ohms rms.,and 350/ch at 4 ohms rms.
A massive transformer ,huge beer can sized capacitors,very impressive build construction.
