1972 French-built 470 with trailer. Boat has a metal belt around its hull; rigging (shrouds) attaches to the band's protruding ends.
This boat may never win a race, but it's a good solid boat to learn how to sail at the cottage. It is not easy to capsize.
Sails are in good condition with all batons. New spreaders and spreader bracket. Centerboard recently varnished. Trailer is 2008 made by Karavan of Quebec, very lightly used (needs new wiring harness for lights). The boat has hiking straps and comes with lots of blocks and hardware. $2,500 for all.
If you ever wanted a Laser II, this is a good alternative.
