Around 3 years old - used as couch for about 2 years then very light use in guest bedroom. Slipcover has been washed and futon has not been used since. Seat and parts of back of slipcover are faded due to sun and wear. Very easy upright to flat mechanism. Comfy as bed with no detectable gap between the two halves of the foam mattress. Both mattress cover and slipcover can be removed and washed. Fits double or queen size sheets. New slipcovers can still be purchased at IKEA (http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/90184839/)
