This Grip is a great addition to your DSLR. The grip has two functions, the first being the ability to use two EN-EL3e batteries to double your battery life or you can use the included six AA battery pack to operate the camera with normal AA batteries. This can come in very handy when you're unable to recharge your EN-EL3s batteries and need to keep using your camera.

The other function of this grip is ease of use when shooting in portrait orientation. The grip adds extra buttons and dials (AF-on button, front and rear dials, vertical shutter release as well as a tripod socket for mounting and a grip lock switch) to use with your DSLR.

This Phottix brand grip performs just like the original MB-D200 but we are offering it at a fraction of the price.
