Vintage K.Yairi acoustic with HSC in Ottawa, Ontario for sale

This is a 1977 Kasuo Yairi dreadnought model YW500R. It's from the golden era of Japanese hand-made guitar making. A couple of small dings and some minor play rash, but it really defies its 37 years of age. The solid spruce top is in excellent condition, and the maple binding and herringbone purfling really speak to the overall build quality. This guitar has been well cared for. The neck is straight and the truss rod works fine. Only slight fret wear on the first 3 or 4 frets.

The tone definitely lives up to the K.Yairi credentials. Very well balanced and the sustain is terrific.
